JSPWB remits N858m to NAHCON

The Jigawa state Pilgrims Welfare Board said, out of 1,472 seats allocated to the state by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), 727 pilgrims had already completed their payment.
This was disclosed by the Executive Secretary, Alhaji Sani Alhassan, while speaking to our reporter yesterday in his office, saying the board has also completed arrangements for the 2018 hajj operation.
According to him, “We have already completed our preparation, we have remitted N858 million to the NAHCON, we have about 28 centres across the state, concluded vaccination, distribution of uniform and bags to our intending Pilgrims, but the training is on.” He advised those that have already completed their payment to prepare their minds on performing an acceptable hajj operation and desist from anything that can bring bad name to Nigeria and the host country, Saudi Arabia.
