JTF arrests Boko Haram ‘sponsor’ in Kano

The Joint Military Task Force (JTF) in Kano has apprehended one of the ‘financiers’ of the Boko Haram who operates shops around Kofar Ruwa with millions of foreign currencies of France Safar, American Dollars, Pounds Sterling, Saudi Riyal and many other denominations.
The suspect, whose name was given as Muhammad Mustapha, has already been taken into JTF custody as further searches into his home and other hideouts continue.

Our correspondent gathered that the suspect used to travel to various Nigerian cities to ‘finance’ the activities of the Boko Haram, thereby keeping them financially buoyant to continue the onslaughts on their innocent Nigerians.
It was also learnt that the suspect, who allegedly disguised as a shop owner at the famous Kofar Ruwa Market, was said to have been operating big business of car spare parts and other valuables worth millions of naira.
Mustapha, according to reports, who resides at Gwamja Quarters in Kano City, hails from Borno state, have been on the wanted list of the JTF.
