Jukun elders laud Ishaku on commissioner’s appointment

 The Jukun Elders Forum on Monday lauded Taraba state governor, Darius Ishaku for appointing Danjuma Adamu to serve under his cabinet as Commissioner of Information.

The spokesman of the forum, Agyoyu Sabastine, while briefing newsmen in Jalingo said the appointment of Adamu to such important state assignment was double honour done to sons and daughters   of Kwararafa kingdom.

“We commend Governor Ishaku for appointing  Danjuma Adamu as commissioner of information.  We know that  Adamu would use his vast experience in the media profession to add his quarter to the rescue movement of Governor Ishaku,”  he said.

He stated further that the Jukun in the state would continue to work with the administration of  Governor Ishaku to deliver the needed dividend of democracy to the good people of the state.

“The governor is in his second tenure, and as we can all see, he has done well during his first tenure. And we must do away with our differences, irrespective of religious and tribal sentiment to see that Tarabans get more  development, ”  he stated.
