Nigeria’s leading engineering construction company, Julius Berger Nigeria (JBN) Plc, has kept its momentum of support to the fight against the coronavirus (COVID-19) with the donation of another batch of beds, mattresses, purpose-built container offices and sentry posts to the new Idu Isolation Centre, Abuja.

JBN, last Thursday, donated an ambulance and a large number of beds and mattresses to the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada.
A press statement by the company’s public relations department, Tuesday, said: “As part of the Julius Berger’s increasingly proactive CSR efforts in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic another food palliatives distribution project is also in the pipeline for residents of the FCT.

According to the Head of JBN Media Relations Office, Prince Moses Duku: “I only echo the socially sensitive Managing Director of Julius Berger, Engineer Lars Richter and, indeed, the Board of Directors and Executive Management of our company when I say the fight against Covid-19 and its threat to human and environmental safety is a fight that must be won. To that effect, we remain resolute.”
The company had launched a series of Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) donations including beds, mattresses, food palliatives, operational support to city disinfection and fumigation, as well as other logistics assistance to government efforts at all levels across the country.
