‘’We are undertaking the construction and rehabilitation of over 780km of roads and bridges nationwide, to be financed by the grant of tax credit to investing business. Ongoing projects under this scheme include: a Construction and Rehabilitation of Lokoja-Obajana-Kabba-Ilorin Road Section II (Obajana-Kabba) in Kogi and Kwara States’’

He said Governor Yahaya Bello has continued to display his love for the people of the state and remained resolute to make sure whatever is due the state will be harnessed for the overall benefit of the people.

Kolawole also used the medium to commend Senator Smart Adeyemi for his golden voice at the National Assembly, stressing that it was during his second term in the 7th Senate that the road received attention last; hence the senatorial district is back on track.

He commended the 9th National Assembly under the watch of Senator Ahmed Lawal and Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila for their purposeful leadership in returning the country to the January/December budget circle.

According to him, the cordial working relationship of both the legislature and the executive is a partnership that will move the country in the right direction, urging the National Assembly to expedite actions in the passage of the budget.

He called on all the representatives from Kogi state at the National Assembly to continue to work together for the overall benefit of the state, urging them to facilitate as many projects as possible to the state, as that is the only way the people will feel the presence of the federal government in their areas.
