Kaduna state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of planning to manipulate and rig the 2015 elections for ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The party in a petition addressed to Professor Attahiru Jega, national chairman of INEC, through the State Resident Electoral Commissioner, said some INEC officials posted to the state were “shamelessly negotiating for financial inducement before they agreed to go round or the exercise.”

Chairman of the APC in the state, Arc Bala Barnabas Bantex, who signed the petition, added that “distribution of the voter’s cards is a failure and INEC is not prepared for the exercise or it has planned to deliberately exclude Kaduna State by depriving the people of their civic responsibilities.”
