Kaduna: CCB directs office holders to fill form before end of tenure



The Code of Conduct Bureau has advised the out going elected and political appointees in Kaduna state to collect, fill and return end of tenure assets declaration forms before vacating their office.


The Kaduna State Director of the Bureau, Alhaji Yusuf Mohammed stated this on Wednesday in a press release sent to Blueprint in Kaduna.


Alhaji Yusuf Mohammed said the advice was in line with the recent directives given by the Kaduna state Governor Malam Nasir el-Rufai to all political appointees to resign their appointment on or before 30th of April 2019.


He further stated that filling and submitting the end of tenure asset declaration form ahead of the end of their stay in office was vital  to enable the CCB to complete their own part of the process in line with the constitution. 


According to Mohammed, all assets declared as mandated by the constitution are subject to verification by the Bureau through conference and physical scrutiny and filling and submission of completed assets declaration form was within 30 days of receipt of the form.
