Kaduna club tasks philanthropists on IDPs, orphans, others

Royal Diamond Club International (RDCI) has called on wealthy Nigerians and philanthropists to extend their widow’s mite to the less privilege, the needy, orphans, those in IDP camps, prison inmates and the hospitalised.

Governor of the Club, King Omotowa Victor Opeyemi, made the call on Sunday in Kaduna. He noted that reaching out to the less privilege in the society will make them feel loved, give them sense of belonging and help reduce the spate of insecurity in the society by reducing the number of aggrieved.

Speaking during the Club’s last outreach to IDP camps, orphanage homes, hospitals and prisons, led by him, the governor encouraged progressive minded Nigerians to “tow the path of honour by emulating some individuals who have shown their love for our country by reaching out to the needy, creating employment opportunities and their unflinching quest for a better Nigeria”.
The RDCI Governor lauded the Group Managing Director of KYC Holdings, Engr. Dr. Michael Auta, who he tagged “an icon of nation building for his role in the employment of youths in the society, which is second to none, regardless of ethnic, religious and tribal differences, his thirst for a united Nigeria speaks volume.
“Michael Auta is a young promising and industrious man from Southern Kaduna part of Kaduna state. The leadership of Royal Diamond Club International promises to work in partnership with KYC Holdings to ensure Nigeria becomes a better place. We also urged other philanthropists to emulate him in assisting the less privilege.”
Governor Opeyemi also appreciated the management of Air Peace led by the CEO Chief Allen Onyema, “for assisting the country to fly back Nigerians who were trapped in South Africa during the xenophobic attack. Allen Onyema also showed love by welcoming the returnees, these is indeed a giant stride and one of the best offers in the recent time”.
The leadership of the club vowed to reach out to both Auta and Onyema in no time to render the club’s unalloyed loyalty, support and commitment to the project of ‘A Better Nigeria’.
