Kaduna: Ex-Rep advocates peaceful society

Former member of House of Representatives, Hon. Usman Shehu Bawa (ABG), has urged for a better and peaceful where everybody will have sense of belonging.
Shehu, who represented Kaduna North Federal Constituency in the 8th Assembly, assured all Nigerians that he will continue to contribute towards ensuring a better and peaceful society.

Speaking on Monday, shortly after receiving an award of Excellence/Humanitarian Services from the Guild of Online Journalists in Kaduna, Shehu ABG said that only a peaceful society can guarantee meaningful development that Nigerians are yearning for.
“Before you came in here, I was with a Senior police officer who was with me and we are trying to see how to improve security in Kaduna North.

This my country and Kaduna is my state, and it has become a responsibility for me either I am in office or not to contribute in my own little way to the development of my country and state.
“This is my philosophy to life, to contribute to the development of the society,” he said.
Speaking on the award, Shehu ABG, said the award will only spur him to do more especially in the area of helping the downtrodden. “I feel honoured and really appreciate you for putting this together.

I will ensure that i don’t relent but continue to do my best for Nigerians especially the less privileged in the society.”
National Secretary of the Guild of Online Journalists, Comrade Abdulwaheed Adubi, in his remarks explained that the group is made up of professional journalists who must have a minimum of diploma in mass communication or journalism to qualify as a member.

Adubi said the decision to honour the ex-lawmaker with the award was unanimously taken at their NEC meeting, considering his track records in his service to humanity
Adubi urged him to keep doing the good works, assuring him that many others are watching silently and praying for God to continue to protect and bless him.
