The Kaduna state House of Assembly has screened four nominees into the governing board of Fiscal Responsibility Commission (FRC) of the state, the Speaker, RT. Hon. Aminu Abdullahi Shagali, has disclosed.
Shagali said only four of the five nominees, were screened during exercise and gave their names as Aliyu Yahaya Sa’ad, as member representing private sector in the state; Lawal Danladi, as member representing Zone 1; Isa. A. Shika, a member representing Zone 2 and Mary Luka, as member representing Zone 3.

However,  Segun Onigbinde, as member representing CSO engaged in causes relating to probity, transparency and good governance, was absent from the screening.
The Speaker, however, said Onigbinde, would be given another chance, but if he failed to appear, the House would advice the executive to nominate another person to replace him.

Hon. Labari Shelly Tella, (Jema’a constituency), charged the nominees to “do what will be good for Kaduna state and its people and work together within that capacity”.
Meanwhile, the House also passed into Law the Bill to Establish the
Kaduna state Mortgages and Foreclosure Authority, 2017.
The purpose of the Bill is to allow non-government workers to participate in purchasing the houses allocated to government workers, if anyone hitherto allocated, was unable to buy the House.
The Bill will allow for permanent interest from the mortgage banks so that even those who cannot purchase be able to do that.
