Project Manager, Kaduna State Emergency Malnutrition Action Plan (KADENAP), Malam Shehu Usman Makarfi, has accused five local government councils in the state of sabotaging the fight against malnutrition in those areas “by not releasing the list of community volunteer officers for payment of monthly allowances.”
He made the accusation at a recent three-day workshop organised for 30 journalists in the state as partners to assist in the fight against malnutrition in Zaria.
Makarfi said the affected local government areas included Zaria, Makarfi, Kaduna South, Igabi and Kaduna North.
