Kaduna PDP women take campaign to Zaria

Kaduna state women wing of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have taken its campaign train to Zaria where women from the state’s Northern Senatorial District converged on Kongo Conference Hotel, Zaria, yesterday.
Addressing the women, wife of the state governor, Hajiya Fatima Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, said the state government had put in place several strategies to tackle most of the challenges the people of the state were facing.
“Government has made security of lives and property as its top priority, including health, education and empowerment as well as job creation among other thing,” she said.

Hajiya Fatima noted that the government made it clear that it would welcome people with creative ideas and talents who were fully ready to work with government and contribute to their well-being, progress and development of the state.
Also speaking, a former member House of Representatives representing Lere Federal Constituency and Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly, Hon. Saudatu Sani, urged women in the state to come out enmasse and give their solid votes to the governor in 2015.

A former Minister of Environment, Hajiya Hadiza Mailafiya, appreciated the prevailing peace being enjoyed in the state, and commended the governor for the success, saying that it was not an easy task.
Earlier, in her remarks, the state Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs Comfort Amwai, said the state government had special respect for women.
