The Kaduna state media corporation chapter of the Radio, Television Theatre and Art Workers Union (RATTAWU) has re-elected its officials to run its affairs for the period of two years.
Re-elected were Comrade Aliyu Yakubu (chairman); Aminu Suleiman (vice-chairman); Augustine Lar (secretary), and Aisha Abdullahi (treasurer).
Others were Abubakar Gambo (assistant secretary); Doris Daniel (auditor); Bulus Haruna (public relations officer), and Haruna Goma as well as Musa Ibrahim and Emmanuel Buki who were elected ex-officios.
Speaking shortly after the election, the chairman thanked members for the confidence reposed in him, reminding them that under his watch, the union put smiles on the faces of members in the area of welfare where essential commodities provided for members during the last Ramadan fast.
He appreciated the management led by its managing director, Malam Ibrahim Sama’ila Ahmed, of the station its “immense support.”
