The Chairman Northern Speakers Forum and Speaker Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon.Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani, has described the demise of two Board of Trustees (BoT) members of the Tsaunin Kura GRA Residents Association (Sabo GRA) as painful.
Zailani who spoke via a statement he personally signed and made available to journalists in Kaduna on Sunday, said, “Since I saw the news of the demise of such a unique community, I have been saddened.
“I received with shock the painful demise of two BoT members of the Sabo GRA, Elder Daniel Dogara and Mr. Stephen Unogwu.
“I am greatly pained by their deaths as it affects the community, which is fast becoming a model of promoting unity and peaceful co-existence in our dear state.”
He then extended condolences to the President General of Sabo GRA, Comrade Dr. Silas Adamu, other executive, members of the community and Immediate families of the deceased.
Rt. Hon. Zailani prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed, while urging the community to keep being a positive light in promoting peace.
Sabo GRA community are the sponsors of the maiden Rt. Hon. Yusuf Zailani peace soccer competition, featuring five metropolitan local government areas of Igabi, Kaduna North, Kaduna South, Chikun and Kajuru.
