Kagarko LG administrator harps on hygiene

Administrator, Kagarko local government council of Kaduna state, Alhaji Mohammed Kabir Mainasibi, has advised parents, especially women, to ensure they maintained good hygiene in their homes and the community. Mainasibi gave the advice at Ungwan Pah community in Kagarko recently while fl agging off the kick out polio programme in the local government.

According to him, general hygiene is very important as it will reduce the spread of diseases, especially among women and children. Earlier, in her address at the programme, the Director Primary Health Care of the area Mrs. Esther Lat commended the Federal, State and Local Government for the resources committed in all Immunization programmes geared to ensuring people enjoyed good health care delivery.

Similarly, the administrator also fl agged of the Maternal, Newborn and Child Week (MNCHW) in Jere during the week, informing mothers and children as there “will be no nation without them.” Speaking at the occasion, the Dallatum Jere, Alhaji Umar Abubakar, thanked the administrator and the governor of Kaduna state for health relative progammes in the state and appealed to the government for the construction of new clinics and provision of additional doctors in the area. Also speaking, the District Head of Shadalafi ya, Mr. Sylvester Madaki, said government had been spending a lot of money to provide various health care for women and children against which back drop they should reciprocate that gesture by accessing the services.

Speaking earlier, the Director, Primary Health Care of the area, Mrs. Esther Lat told parents that the medical personnel had been trained to provide quality health care services to them and that their cooperation was needed to make all programmes successful. She thanked all the people that have contributed to the success of health care programmes in the local government
