Kagoro old boys association elects new executives

The Kagoro Secondary School Old Boys Association (KASSOBA) has elected new national executives to handle the affairs of the association for the next 3 years.

Swearing in the newly elected officials at the Bagaiya Library in the school at Kagoro Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State during the weekend, one of the board members of the school, and an old boy, Col. Emmanuel I. Ndubueze (retd) charged them to discharge their duties diligently so as to uplift the standard of the school.

The newly elected National Executives included; Dr. Mark David Anthony, President, Honourable Sani Tachio,  Secretary General, Mr, David Haruna, Assistant Secretary General and Alhaji Abubakar Labaran, Financial Secretary.

Others are, Lt. Comdr. Anthony Amai (Rtd.) treasurer, Mallam Suleman Abdullahi public relations officer, Mr.  Bitrus Akai Assistant public relations officer, Mr, Nuhu Baidi Auditor and Mr, Ishaya Markus as social/ cultural officer respectfully.

In his speech, the new President Comrade David Mark Anthony, promised to consolidate on the achievements of the past executives for the development of the School.

Anthony said that he and his team are going to run an open door policy to ensure every member of the association is carried along in order to harness human and material resources in the School.

He appealed to all members to join hands with the new executives to pave way for a successful tenure.

He thanked the outgoing executives, board members and the members of the Association for giving him and his team the mandate to serve them.

Earlier in his address, the outgoing President, Dr, Engineer Yusuf. said that the immediate past executives overstayed their time owing to some unavoidable circumstances and challenges.

Yusuf however, noted with gratitude that despite some challenges, their regime recorded tremendous success.
