Three villages, Kajim, Mahuta and Randiyam, jointly called Kamara in Moroa’a chiefdom of Kaura local government area of Kaduna state, have pledged their unflinching support to the state government under the leadership of Governor Nasir Ahmed el-Rufa’I and his deputy, Architect Barnabas Bala Bantex.

Addressing newsmen recently at the Kaura local government multi-purpose hall, the chairman Kamara, Elder Andrew Bagu, said the three communities reposed confidence in the state leadership, in view of its peaceful disposition and drive towards rural development.

Bagu appreciated governor el-Rufa’I for the choice of Bantex to serve as his deputy, a development, he said convinced them of the governor’s genuine intention to make the state great again.

He said the three villages and indeed the entire state were faring well in terms of infrastructural development and the security of lives and property under the present administration.

The chairman noted with satisfaction that the three villages were connected with the National grid aside from the on-going construction of the road linking the villages and the rehabilitation and provision of furniture to primary schools among others.

Other developmental strides according to the chairman include establishment of two solar power companies and one Irish potatoes processing company in Kaura local government.

The community leader however enumerated challenges facing the villages to include absence of pipe borne water, an abandoned health facility in Kajim under construction and inadequate classrooms at Government Day Secondary School, Mahuta.

He called on the state government to consider the possibility of addressing the challenges with a view to stepping up their living conditions.
