Kano APC chieftain hails Ganduje for employing 7,500 teachers

A chieftain of the All Progressives Party (APC) in Kano, Alhaji Musa Danbirni, has described Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s decision to employ 7,500 teachers across all the 44 local government areas of the state as “a major step towards reducing the disturbing spate of unemployment.”

He gave the commendation at a press conference in Kano Friday, saying that the effort had demonstrated the seriousness of the governor in lending credence to the education sector, and that employing 7,500 teachers was worth celebrating.

He said the goals of entrenching a cohesive concept of basic education system could only be realistic with the employed 7,500 teachers complementing the effort, stressing that everyone was convinced that on education, Governor Ganduje meant business.

Danbirni called on notable stakeholders and philanthropists to support the Ganduje administration in its efforts to propel the state to greater heights.
