Kano Pillars unveil new kits for the 2023/24 NPFL season

Ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2023/24 season, Kano Pillars has unveiled its eagerly anticipated new kits to the public.

After a hard-fought battle in the Nigeria National League Super 8 promotion playoffs held in Asaba, the team, fondly known as “Sai Masu-gida,” earned their promotion to the prestigious NPFL by securing the runners-up position.

The promotion marks a triumphant return for Kano Pillars to the NPFL after experiencing a disappointing 2021-2022 season that resulted in their relegation to the lower league.

Seeking to build on their recent success and bolster their performance, the club is actively in pursuit of a new coach to lead the team in the top-flight league. Evans Ogenyi, the former handler, steered the team back to the NPFL, but they are now on the lookout for a fresh coaching approach.

Abdulahi Maikaba, a highly respected figure in the footballing community, is currently the frontrunner in the race to take charge of Kano Pillars for the new season.
