Katsina-Alu’s experience impacted on governance – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with the family and friends of former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Aloysius Iyorgyer KatsinaAlu, who passed away on yesterday.
The President also joined the government and people of Benue state, Nigerian Bar Association and National Judicial Council in mourning the erudite jurist, who contributed immensely to the structuring of Nigeria’s jurisprudence.
He said Justice Katsina-Alu’s knowledge, experience and diligence impacted greatly on governance in Nigeria as he featured prominently in landmark cases.
The President said the late Chief Justice left behind a legacy of discipline, brilliance and diligence that younger jurists should emulate.
He prayed that the almighty God would grant the soul of the departed good rest and comfort his family.
