Kebbi: APC inaugurates care taker committee

Kebbi state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated a caretaker committee to steer the affairs of the party for the next six months when the party’s congress will hold to elect officials nationwide.

The inauguration which took place at the Presidential Banquet Hall Birnin Kebbi yesterday, has the attendance many APC loyalists.

Speaking, the chairman of the caretaker committee Arc, Bala Sani Kangiwa thanked party members for finding the selected members worthy to lead them again.

He disclosed that since they were elected to man the affairs of the party in 2018 , there was harmonious working relation with both government and the party members across the state.

“I promise to continue discharging my duties to the best of my ability to ensure unity of party as well its success, adding that the welfare of party members is paramount”.

However, a central working committee that comprises 17 members, a non working commiitee of 19 and 21 local government party chairmen were sworn in by Barrister Samaila Kakale.

Speaking shortly after administering of oath of office to the committee, the representative of the state governor and Secretary to the State Government Alhaji Babale Umar Yauri (mni) urged the caretaker committee members to rededicate themselves towards working assidiously for the party’s success.

He further said that thare has been a synergy between the executive arm of government and the party, which he said will be maintained.
