Malam Dahiru Hassan Kera, journalist and media consultant, recently declared his intention to contest Nafada South State Assembly seat in the forthcoming 2019 general election on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Gombe state. Kera is widely known philanthropic gestures in Gombe state, especially towards the less privileged.
It’s hard to mention anyone from Gombe without including this brave, wise, and elegant gentleman. Kera didn’t just declare his interest, but responded to the calls by the youth and the generality of the masses who yearn for a reliable and purposeful representation.
Kera picked up gauntlet to provide effective and efficient service to Nafada constituency. “I accept wholeheartedly the call from the able people of this proud constituency to join the race because I am eligible, experienced in politics and sufficiently educated. Let me assure us that this decision was not taken lightly, it was reached only after deep consultations with family, friends, political allies and associates who encouraged me to declare,” he said.
The PDP ward chairmen in the constituency congratulated Kera for declaring to contest, saying the people at the grassroots deserved to be represented by only courageous, ambitious and determined fellow such as Kera. In a compendium gesture, the warm people and numerous groups who mustered their concern said “Today, we welcome you wholeheartedly because you are one of our most committed members whose dedication and contribution to the party’s survival and promotion of the viable programmes and policies of the administration of our leader, Governor Dankwambo, while also defending the party in the media war, are commendable.
Kera has been a light to the people of Gombe state, he promotes and mentors many social-media-activists from Gombe state. He deserves this seat, he’s been widely acknowledged and lauded for his contributions to Gombe state at large not even only NAFADA. Conclusively, the people of Nafada should reciprocate by casting their votes for Kera. Whoever votes him supports development and contributes to the good works he’ll off er if elected.
