Khadija varsity scales 9 out of 14 stages of accreditation

The National University Commission (NUC) has expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work at Khadija University Majiya in Taura local government area of Jigawa state.

The acting director for the Establisment of Private University, Professor Aminu Abba told the Emir of Ringim after the inspection tour of the University on Wednesday.

He said out of 14 stages meant to be fulfilled by any private University before accreditation by the NUC, nine stages had been achieved already by Khadija University Majiya.

Also, the Chairman planning and Implementation Committee of the University, Professor Sagir Adamu Abba commended the effort and zeal of the founder, Alhaji Musa Majiya a business tycoon and a philanthropist for establishing the Institution.

He said all necessary measures meant to be taken to guarantee quick accreditation had been taken, and going by quality as well as pace of works there, no stone will be left unturned.
