President of Kickboxing Federation of Nigeria (CSP) Abubakar Yakubu, has congratulated Nigerian born UFC Middle weight Champion, Israel Adesanya for successfully defending his title with a knockout win over Brazillian Paulo Costa in the second round.
“Adesanya dominated the opponent from the start and finish up with deadly punches. And of course, he also made it look so ease,” he said.
The sports administrator was equally effusive in praises of Adesanya, whose behavior and attitude both on and off the ring, he described as commendable and a great motivation for upcoming athletes.
CSP Yakubu also commended other Nigeria born world class UFC fighters including Usman Kamaru and Hakeem Dawodu for doing the nation proud with their fights and their never say die Nigerian attitude.
” The leadership of the Kickboxing federation are working assiduously to ensure its developmental plans which are targeted at cadet athletes to ensure the talents pool continue to develop,” the astute administrator added.
