Oyo state government has called on the people of the state to await the outcome of police investigations on the Ibadan kidnappers’ den discovered at Soka area of the town a few days ago.
Also, the state Commissioner of Police, Mr Mohammed Ndabawa, has said that police forensic experts were currently carrying out investigations on decomposed bodies in conjunction with authorities of the University of Ibadan.

Speaking through the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security Matters, Mr. Segun Abolarinwa, the government promised that the outcome of forensic investigations would soon be made public.
Abolarinwa, who was speaking on the state-owned radio station, said it would be improper for the people to pre-empt the outcome of the investigations before its conclusion by the security agencies.

He advised that the state government should not be accused of any complicity in the plights of the captives and the killing of the victims at the den, adding that “no government would sit by watching its citizens being killed and taken captive.”
Ndabawa declared that the state police command was determined to get to the root of the matter and unravel the mysteries over the kidnappers den and its operators.
