KIFA makes history with left-footers scouting programme

…Amuneke endorses, praise initiative

The dearth of quality left-footed players in Nigerian football would soon become a thing of the past as Kanu International Football Academy (KIFA), is set to rewrite history with the left footed footballers scouting programme organized in its over 120 centres around the 36 states and FCT.

According to the national coordinator of KIFA, Abdulrasak Usman, the programme is “aimed at discovering quality left footed players and countering this dearth that has remained a technical deficiency in Nigerian football.”

Former Barcelona star and Golden Eaglets coach, Emmanuel Amuneke who has endorsed the programme, described it as historic and wonderful.

” This is a wonderful initiative and I must commend KIFA for this great programme. It would certainly produce more left-footers and of course, be great for Nigerian football,” Amuneke enthused.

On his part, KIFA’s National Coordinator, Coach Abdulrasak Usman expressed confidence in the programme, which he said would help to develop Nigerian football.

” We are determined to produce more Amunekes, Elahors, Babayaros and Chukwuezes. Left footed footballers are unique and beautiful to watch.

“At KIFA, we want to continue to make history and change the narratives of grassroots football development,” the renowned football technician added.
