Killer of the new generation

Even though the place of the youthis being undermined many youth helped in creating the perception that all youths are nuisance, an evil generation. Previously, the most trending issue was drinking (alcohol) and prostitution; through which STDs are spread in the society. Now, STDs are no longer issue of concern. It’s no longer being feared. The use of illicit drugs is now in the front burner. According to reports, about three million bottles if codeine syrup are illegally consumed daily in Kano and Jigawa states. These drugs are silent killers as destinies are aborted, students drop out of school, workers get sacked, rehabilitation centres overcrowded. The fight against such an act is not the responsibility of the government alone but a collective responsibility. Say NO to codeine and other drug abuse. We all are nationbuilders, the nation is indebted to us. Why making yourself miserable, you owe yourself a right to good health. Stay healthy, let’s build Nigeria to greater heights.
