Kogi 2019: Adejoh promises to empower women, youths

Ahead of the November 16 governorship election in Kogi state,  a female aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Princes Grace Adejoh, has promised to empowered women and youths to put an end to insecurity and joblessness.

Adejoh who stated this shortly after obtaining her expression of interests form Tuesday, at the PDP national secretariat, Abuja, said she ventured into the race because of her passion to end the suffering of her people.  

The female aspirant, who assured that she would tackle security challenges in the state with the aid of closed circuit television (CCTV), added that “I will put an end to poverty through capacity and development building training, empowerment and by ensuring that the abundant mineral resources in Kogi state are properly harnessed.

She said ” I will fast track security situation, make it super-efficient by providing security apparatus with necessary logistics, training, and retraining. I will also use CCTV to curb insurgency, kidnapping and other security challenges affecting our people.

Adejoh who promised to make payment of salary her priority cautioned that ” PDP ticket should not be given to candidate known for violence but to someone like her who mean well for her people.

Adejoh expressed confidence that, if given the ticket, she will defeat the incumbent, Governor Yahaya Bello.
