Kogi NYCN suspends chairman

The Kogi state chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria has suspended its chairman, Comrade Oladele John Nihi from office.
This, according to the body, followed Nihi’s “refusal to summon and attend management meetings,” which it said “made him culpable on all the allegations levelled against him.” A statement by the body said in his place, the deputy chairman, “Comrade Ali Sunday assumes duty immediately as the Acting Chairman of NYCN, Kogi state chapter till the next management meeting” when the issue would come up for further discussion.
Besides, the group also withdrew its sponsorship of Nihi’s presidential candidature for the 2018 NYCN elective congress, pending the determination of his case at the next management meeting
