Kogi poll: Wada promises probity, accountability

Kogi state Governor, Captain Idris Wada, has assured that probity and accountability would remain his watch word if given the mandate to serve again.
Wada, who gave the assurance while addressing supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at Kogi West Zonal campaign rally in Kabba, said the PDP had in the last 13 years impacted positively on the lives of the people in area of provision of the needed democracy dividends.
He assured that PDP administration in Kogi would continue to give priority to women and youth empowerment through agriculture.

In his speech , the governor of Ondo state and chairman of PDP Governors’ Forum, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, who led the campaign train of Wada to the western senatorial district  of the state, disclosed  that all PDP governors were working in unity to ensure the victory of their colleague in Kogi on November 21.

Mimiko, who expressed optimism that Governor Wada would win his election overwhelmingly as a result of human and infrastructure development put in place since he came on board in 2012, called for the sustenance of the prevailing unity amongst the PDP family in the state.
Also speaking, the immediate past governor of the state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, who doubles as the chairman of Kogi Elders Advisory Council, urged the PDP faithful to remain steadfast in their support for Wada.
He expressed confidence that Wada would emerge victorious at the governorship polls.
