Kogi tanker explosion: CUPP condoles victims’ families

Coalition of United Political Parties ( CUPP) has condoled with victims of families of Kogi tanker explosion where scores of lives were lost.

In a condolence message on Wednesday by the National Secretary, High Chief Peter Ameh described the accident as sad and unfortunate.

He prayed the Almighty God to grant those who lost their lives in the unfortunate incidence eternal rest.

The statements read in part, “My heart felt sympathy goes out to all the families who lost their loved ones as a result of the unfortunate tanker explosion which took place in Lokoja today. It could have been any one of us.

“While I pray that the Good Lord should grant the victims a perfect resting peace, I commiserate with the government and people of Kogi state over the unfortunate incident.

“I want to use this opportunity to pledge my undying support to the affected families and pray that God Almighty grant all the affected families the fortitude to bear this painful loss. You are not alone,” he said.
