Residents of Kpaduma in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have appealed to government to improve their standard of living by providing basic social amenities like health centre and others to them.
They made the call when Nigerian Air Force (NAF) personnel visited the village to offer them free medical assistance.
Young and old people in Kpaduma gathered to receive free medical services from NAF even as the head of the community, Mr Fajemi Karayi, appealed to the government to provide basic amenities that would make life more meaningful for them.
They criticised the Federal Capital Territory administration (FCTA) for non-provision of social amenities like health centre.
Blueprint reports that NAF medical experts said they were in the community as part of to assist the people by offering free treatment, adding that Kpaduma community was one out of several areas in the Federal Capital Territory begging for the provision of social amenities.
The residents commended the Air Force for the gesture and said they were looking forward to more of such gestures, expressing the hope that the FCTA would take a cue from the Nigeria Air Force’s “little show of kindness.”No tags for this post.
