Kuje aspirant promises infrastructural development

A Kuje chairmanship aspirant on the ticket of All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Amidu Gaude, has promised infrastructural development in the area council if elected chairman.
Amidu made the promise when he declared for the area council chairmanship position at the weekend.
According to him, Kuje lacks social amenities and deserves a leader to fix infrastructural development to ease the suffering of the masses.
However, he charged youths across the area to shun any form of violence and support nation building, saying “peace is priceless,” hence the need for the youths to steer clear of violence and contribute to the development of the country.
The aspirant urged the youths to shun politicians who might want to use them as thugs in the build-up to the 2019 general elections in the country, stressing that, youths are the future of this country and deserve to be treated with equal opportunities.
“I call on the electorate also to shun any form of violence that could divide the our council and especially the country but rather engage on productive activities to better their future,” he said.
He said discipline and cultural diplomacy should be the watchwords for youths in the country,” adding that, registration and collection of PVCs with INEC is very essential to the electorate as well as for the success of the forthcoming elections.
Amidu, who also called on Nigerians to be their brother’s keeper and tolerate one another, added that peace is a necessary requirement for the development of any society.
