The chairman, Kuje area council, Abuja, Alhaji Abdullahi Suleiman Sabo Thursday empowered women and youths in Kuje.
Speaking at the occasion, the chairman said he was delighted and honoured to be part of history of empowering the youths and women of Kuje area council.
He said the importance of women and youths to the development and growth of any society cannot be over emphasized because empowering them is a task that every sensible administration must accomplish.
He said his administration deems it necessary to improve the lives and wellbeing of its people through resources that is transforming the consciousness of the youths and women for sustainable development.
The chairman said we are giving out twenty five motorcycls and thirty grinding machine to few beneficiaries. This gesture is at no cost but as recognition of the contributions of the beneficiaries to the success of this administration.
He stated that those that are yet to benefit have nothing to lose, adding that, his administration is aware of the contributions and support of every member of the party. He urged members to continue to support his administration.
To the beneficiaries, he said, “what you are enjoining today is a privilege. Therefore, you should use this empowerment to develop your selves.
