Kuje chair pledges to support grassroots

Chairnman of Kuje Area Council, Hon. Ishaku Shaban Tete, has said that his administration would develop ways that would alleviate the sufferings of the people in the rural areas in the Council.

He said that the growing unemployment at the local level was a thorn in the flesh.
He said: “We shall collaborate with other organs of government to bring this aspiration to fulfillment he lamented.
“Shaban made this remark while receiving the newly-elected executives of Kuje press corps in his office recently.

He said his top priority was to provide good portable drinking water and accessible road network to the people of Kuje Area council.
Hr said the need for the “people to support his administration to move Kuje to the next level”.

He lauded the contributions of his cabinet and workforce for their work they were doing, “especially in the area of legislation”.
He urged them to continue to support his administration for a successful leadership in Kuje area Council.

He also commended them for the enhanced security of lives and property, “despite some security challenges in the country”.
Shaban promised to look into any vital issues raised by individuals, in fulfillment of dividends of democracy.
