Chairman, Kuje area council, Alhajid Abdullahi Danladi Galadima, has fl agged off free eye treatment and surgery in Rubochi primary health care centre. Speaking at the ceremony recently, the chairman said during his electioneering campaign he promised and observed that most people in Kuje area council are suffering from various diseases particularly the eyes problem. According to him, infrastructure like water, road and health are his priority.
He said Kuje residents, especially the indigenes are predominately farmers whose farm products “cannot sustain them enough to go for medical treatments or major operation.”
The chairman said haven looked into the plight of the people, the administration “finds it necessary to bring this initiative to the people.” Galadima said the exercise had been zoned into groups/wards which included Rubochi development area comprising Kujekwa, Gudunkerya, Rubochi and Gwargwada wards.
In his contribution, the SaRubochi, Alhaji Ibrahim Pada thanked the council chairman for carrying out the laudable initiative, and gave the assurance that the “information will reach every resident of Rubochi.”
