Kwali council chair pledges to complete on-going projects

Chairman of Kwali area council, Hon. Ibrahim Daniel Kwali, has re-assured the people of the area that his administration would focus attention on the completion of all the on-going development projects arcos the council.

The chairman made the pledge in Kwali while fielding questions from newsmen on the activities of his administration.
“We shall ensure that all on-going projects since 2010 are fully completed for the benefit of Kwali residents,” he said, adding that his administration was determined to entrench fiscal discipline and responsibility with a view to blocking wastages and leakages in the council expenditure and revenue collection.

He called on residents to exhibit more tolerance and good neighbourliness in order to enjoy greater peace and stability in 2014.
The chairman challenged the people in the area to resolve to make 2014 the year in which all forms of undemocratic criticism would be brought to an end in order to proceed to a future where Kwali council development was unhindered.

He praised the resolve of his people to remain invisible and urged them not to be distracted by elements that were hell-bent on cheating chaos in the area.

Kwali called on journalists to remain dedicated and always be conscious of facts in their reportage, saying that days of negativity were over.
“We must ensure that 2014 is a year of fair, balance and objectivity,” adding that journalist should not allow themselves to be used by agents of destruction.
