Kwankwaso loses large supporters in Jigawa

Indications to this effect emerged following the repainting of the Kwankwasiya Movement offices in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital in APC colours.
The Senator representing Kano Central Senatorial zone, Senator Rabiu Kwankwanso defected last Tuesday along with 13 other senators at the National Assembly.
Among them 11 senators pitched tent with the PDP, three with ADC while one opted for the SDP.
On Sunday, more than 25,000 red caps which is the sign of Kwankwasiya Movement were set ablaze within the promises of the office led by the leader of the movement, Comrade Ibrahim Akwaciri in the presence of the APC state executive committee members.
Akwaciri explained that Senator Kwankwaso was having over 1000,000 supporters across the 27 local government areas.
“The same re-caps burning has been witnessed throughout the state”.
He further reiterated that “presently Senator Kwankwa has lost the support of over 900,000 loyaiists resulting from his decision to the APC.
He said the supporters have resolved to part ways with the senator and ensure that his movement and everything about is it no longer has any significance.
“That is why we are burning these red caps to signify that we are no longer in support of Senator Kwankwaso.
Now we are in full support of President Mohammadu Buhari and Governor Badaru Abubakar”, he concluded.
