A gubernatorial hopeful under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara state, Muhammed Ajia ,yesterday charged members of the party to close ranks and forged a common front for the party ahead of 2019 general elections.
He lamented that the ‘rancour ‘and internal wrangling within the PDP in the state, would not do the party any good if they were not resolved before the party primaries.

“We need a united political party to face the problem of the state. Unity is the first thing that can give us victory, we cannot go to war with a divided house”, he said

“We need to change the narrative of our politics, the burden is in our hands, the Not Too young To Run’ bill has just been signed. Let’s take advantage of of the bill, let’s encourage them (youths), the might not be part of the struggle before now but let give them the chance.
“Let’s build Kwara where the son of nobody will become somebody, a Kwara where our resources will be controlled by all, that is my dream”, he said.
