Kwara APC youths demand Saraki’s suspension

The youth wing of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kwara state known as ‘Young Aspirants’ has called on the national leadership of the party to immediately expel the Senate Presi- dent, Dr.
Olusola Saraki, for anti- par- ty activities.
The youths in a communi- qué signed by the general secretary, Abubakar Jimba, after their meeting yesterday said Saraki has continue to encourage and display various antiparty activities as some of his associates recently made derogatory statements about the party while some of them publicly announced their exit from the party.
Jimba said allowing Saraki to remain in APC is detrimental to the progress of the party in the state and at the federal level.
“The exit of his political associate, Kawu Baraje, his Chief of Staff, Baba Ahmed and all other federal lawmak- ers from Kwara state are pointers to this.
“The likes of Bolaji Abdullahi who is a stooge of the senate president is still very much active in the party.
This is simply the brainchild of a man who has over the years entrenched a pseudo developmental ideology into his core values.
This is nothing but the ugly experience the people of Kwarago through in the recent times.
“We must remind everyone that no one is bigger than the party and the party is supreme,” the group said.
According to him, there are many parts of anti-party activities of Saraki who is the APC, currently seating as a Senate President and elected on the ticket of the APC.
He added that his activities demoralize members of the party and the stakeholders can no lon- ger tolerate him.
“We hereby demand for the suspension of Sen.
Saraki from the party as a disciplinary action.
This will further establish the fact that discipline exists in our party as against other parties where they can do things and make away with it.
