Kwara NUJ Estate: NAWOJ wants equal opportunities

The Kwara state council of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has advised the committee handling the state NUJ Estate project to provide equal opportunities to all members of the association that are interested in the project.

NAWOJ’s state chairman, Hajia Binta Abubakar Mora, gave the advice during the visit of some members of the NUJ Strategic Management Committee, the committee handling the project, to Harmony FM Radio station, Idofian.
While commending the state council of the NUJ, led by Malam Abiodun Badulkareem, Binta enjoined the committee to redeem all promises made to members on the estate project “particularly on the facilities.”

Chairman of the Harmony Chapel of the NUJ, Mr Lawrence Afolabi, thanked the committee for their visit and assured the state NUJ of the cooperation of his members.
Also, at the Nigerian Pilot newspapers, the chairman of the chapel, Mr Shuaib Abdulkadri, assured the committee of the support and cooperation of his chapel, describing the NUJ estate project as “a welcome development” that all his members would key into.
