Kwara youth council elects new officers

National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kwara state chapter, has elected new executive members that will steer the ship of the association for the next three years.
The new executives are: Comrade Kazeem Adekeye who was re-elected as the Chairman, Alli Nasiru Yusuf (Vice Chairman), Sheu Ndanusa Usman (Secretary), Garuba Saka (Vice Chairman central), Bello O. Kamal(Vice Chairman South), Ajadi Saliu Murtala (Vice Chairman North), Atoyebi John Kehinde (Assistant Secretary General).

Others are: Ayinde Wahab (Tresurer),  Jimoh S. Abdulganiyu(Financial. Secretary ), Atunbi Olushola Christopher (Social Second ), Daramola Yinka(Auditor) Temidayo Christianah Oludoyi (Auditor ii) Bamikole Oladele Babs(PRO I) Folorunsho Suliman (PRO ii) Taofiq Kayode Olateju Legal Adviser), Amuda Oloko-Ide(Ex-Officio and Fawole Olaitan Tope(Ex-Officio, among others.
Kwara state Commissioner of Sports and Youth Development, Pharm. Kale Ayo Nuhu, commended the youth for their conducts during and after the election.
He advised them to embrace themselves and support the state government drive for positive change.
The commissioner advised them to be the agents of change and not agents of destruction.

According to him, the youth have a lot to offer the nation, most especially the present administration drive of eradicating corruption, kidnapping, cultism and other forms of vices.
In his acceptance speech, the new chairman of the Council said he would create a referendum where the youth would bare their minds on issues effecting them.
He expressed gratitude to the youth of the state for the trust reposed in him by voting him for the second time.
