La’ah donates 2 primary healthcare centres to Southern Kaduna  

Danjuma La’ah, the immediate past senator representing Kaduna South senatorial district at the National Assembly, has donated two fully equipped primary healthcare centres to his constituency.

The health facilities, located in Kagarko and Sanga local government areas of the state, were handed over to the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN).

Speaking at the commissioning of the facilities, La’ah said the gesture was borne out of the need to enhance access to quality health care services for his constituents.

While describing health as wealth, the lawmaker explained that the facilities would ease the burden of people living in the area in terms of accessing health care.

“I was motivated to construct and donate these health facilities to further ensure the healthy living of my constituents.

“Life cannot be fulfilled without health and that is why the health and wellbeing of my constituents is one of my top priorities.

“It is my sincere prayer and desire that the person coming after me will continue from where I stopped,” he added.

In his remarks, the chairman of CHPRBN, Sule Galadima, noted that public health was crucial to national productivity and described the gesture as timely.

He said the board will provide all the human resources needed to ensure smooth running of the facilities.

Also speaking, the Executive Secretary of the board, Alhaji Bashir Idris, commended the senator and wished him success in his future endeavors.

Alhaji Idris who is the Lifidin Jama’a observed that the project would apart from providing health service to the people in the communities will also provide employment, and urged the people to take good care of the facilities by taking ownership for effective management and maintenance.

In their separate remarks, representatives of the two local government areas commended the lawmaker for the donation.They urged other well placed public officials and corporate organisations to emulate La’ah’s gesture in supporting society.
