Labour Party’s Rhodes-Vivour speaks on burnt popular Lagos market

The Lagos state Labour Party governorship candidate, Rhodes-Vivour, has condemned the burning of the spare parts market at Kirikiri road Ajegunle, Ajeromi Ifelodun in Lagos.

Blueprint had reported that the Igbo dominated spare part market was set ablaze on Wednesday morning by unknown thugs.

In a tweet on Wednesday, the governorship candidate condemned the attack while urging the security operatives to ensure that the culprits behind the hideous act be brought to book.

“I’m deeply concerned by reports of ethnically motivated violence reported targeting businesses across Lagos. Lagos is a beautiful state built on cooperation and harmony.

“These attacks stand condemned. I urge the Commissioner of Police to urgently investigate these and bring culprits to book,” he said.
