League of Africa Development Students (LADS) has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his steadfastness and abiding faith in human rights and the rule of law, saying his administration would go far with this consistency.
The group, in an open letter of gratitude to President Buhari, said they were particularly happy for the reinstatement of Alhaji Abdulrasheed Maina back to the federal civil service.
A statement by the Secretary General of LADS, Osisiogu Osike, and made available to Blueprint said “the effort is a conspicuous victory of vindication over victimization of an astute and consummate public servant.
“One would recall the patriotic efforts of Alhaji AbdulRasheed Maina in exposing clandestine acts of corruption that attracted victimisation to the fine technocrat.
“Your Excellency, this is indeed another plus in your administration’s policy of zero tolerance to corruption and injustice, a war you are gradually and surely winning”, the group said.
They urged Maina not to be deterred by the unpleasant experience of the past but to remain resolute in justifying the confidence of Mr. President and the entire Nigerians and determine to serve more diligently.
