Lagos: Elderly Pilgrims to enjoy special treat


As Lagos begins sensitisation workshop ahead of Mount Arafat and Muzdalifa Hajj rites, Old people are to get special treat for easy exercise.

Chairman Ad-hoc Committee of Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Ahmed Jebe, gave the promise in an exclusive interview with newsmen after the symposium while announcing their optimum preparations to ensure safety and create comfortable conditions for their Pilgrims.

Alhaji Jebe urged the pilgrims to prepare to be humbled by the diversity of people they will come across during the journey, asking them to keep it cool all times.

He said as human, every culture have a way of doing their things which might provoked other people’s behaviour which needed to be absorbed.

He also said that the satisfaction lies in the completion of the tasks and then using the life lessons they learnt during the exercise to make the post-Hajj life fruitful.

Alhaji Jebe also called on the pilgrims to dedicate their time to performing the rituals, while encouraging them to focus on feeling the spirituality of the journey and should distance themselves from distractions during the exercise.

OThe Ad-hoc Chairman wished all the pilgrims safe and rewarding experience.
