Lagos: Jandor vows to review lands ‘stolen’ by government, individuals

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Lagos state, Olajide Adediran (Jandor), has promised that if elected governor of Lagos state in 2023, he would review all forced evictions and demolition of landed properties across Lagos by previous administrations.

The PDP standard bearer said this during meeting he had with artisans, party members and leaders in Ward J, constituency 1, in Eti-Osa local government area during his campaign tour of the council Sunday.

Adediran lamented that several forced evictions across Lagos has robbed the people of state  projects that  can benefit the people, noting that in some cases, the lands where taken over by top government officials for personal use.

He promised that if elected, his administration would checkmate such trend across the state.

“I am going to protect this community as governor, the last time I was in Ibeju Lekki, I told them that all our lands that they have collected in the name of personal use I would take them back.

“I would take the land back and give them back to the people when I become governor. It is either we want to continue with them or we want things to change,” Adediran said.
