The lawmaker representing Ajeromi-Ifelodun federal constituency Kolawole Taiwo Musibau has embarked on series of life changing social and economic development programmes for the people of his constituency.
The programmes which started late last year (2020), included the lightening of several roads and streets with solar energy, and the organization interactive town hall meeting, during which successful participants of the forex trading programme received free new laptops.
Renowned for his people oriented programmes, HKT, a former Deputy Speaker in the Lagos State House of Assembly, went steps forward as he began 2021, with several other life-changing programmes for members of Ajeromi-Ifelodun, beginning with the historic agric/ poultry training programme he solely sponsored and held in conjunction with the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology and Highsky Procurement Limited.
Hundreds of successful graduands at these fishing and poultry trainings received cash gifts, feeds and gadgets as take off capital, as well as certificate.
Speaking on the success of the training programmes, HKT expressed his happiness on the trainings, as he thanked the resource persons and individuals who contributed to the successful completion of the programmes.
He went ahead to admonish the participants and graduands to be self- reliant and sufficient by setting up small and medium scale businesses in poultry and fish farming.
” I am happy by the enthusiasm displayed by the participants during the training programmes. It shows the readiness of our youths to become economically independent and financially comfort. That’s in line with my dreams for people of my constituency.
He added: ” Take this as a challenge. I want you all to be able to produce fishes and chickens for sale during the Easter period. With seriousness, you can start making money for yourselves,” HKT, who was recently honoured as the ‘Best Politician’ at the 7th Edition of the City Merit Awards, enthused gleefully.
