Lagos: NSCDC commander assumes duty, assures protection of infrastructure





The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC ), Lagos state Command has welcomed a new corps commandant, Commander Usmani Ishaq Alfadarai in Lagos.

The corps commander assured the state of protection of infrastructure and other government facilities in the state.

The command’s spokesperson, Deputy Superintendent Abiodun Oluwaseun,  in  a statement made available to journalists, said the new commander has re-assured Lagosians of maximum protection of critical national assets and infrastructure, through robust engagement with critical stakeholders and synergy with security agencies amongst others.

The new state commandant, Alfadarai was born in 1970 in Zaria city, in Zaria Local Government Area (LGA ) of Kaduna State.

He attended Salvation Army Primary School, Agege between 1976 and 1982. He also attended Anwar-ul Islam College, Agege, between 1982 and 1987 both in Lagos.


After his secondary education, he attended School of Basic Studies, Bauchi State Polytechnic, Bauchi from 1987 to 1989.


He then proceeded to the prestigious and popular Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria from 1990 to 1993, where he bagged his Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science. As a result of his unrelenting quest for knowledge, he also holds a Master Degree in Public Administration ( MPA ) from the prestigious University of Lagos.
