Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau state has approved the appointment of Alhaji Brahima Ishiyaku and Barr Auwal Abdulahi as the substantive Chairman and Executive Secretary of the State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, respectively.
This was contained in a press release issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Rufus Bature.
Lalong has not constituted the board’s substantive chairman and executive secretary since inception in office in 2015.
The members of the board are; Alhaji Bello Dabo, Alhjaji Dan’asabe Yerima, Alhaji Abdurrazaq Muhammad and Alhaji Sale Kurgwi.
Others are; Alhaji Adamu Muhammad, Alhaji Alhassan Ayeki, Alhaji Muhammad Ardo Riyom as well as Alhaji Rabiu Yahaya Jingir.
The release said the date for the inauguration of the chairman and executive secretary would be communicated to them later.
